Internal Sales Administrator – Manufacturing Industry

Job Description

Our Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a talented Internal Sales Administrator to provide an exceptional level of service to prospective and existing customers.

Day to day tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Ability to answer calls, understanding customer needs and requirements assist courteously to customer complaints and inquiries 
• Educate the customer on our product range and offering a variety of product related solutions to clients
• Data entry of customer registrations
• Receiving and processing orders on behalf of customers in an efficient and accurate manner, as well as providing order status updates
• SAP/SYSPRO/ system knowledge 
• Utilizing inbound call opportunities to generate sales
• Enhance sales by suggesting alternate products and explaining their features and benefits to promote purchases that fulfill the customers need and accomplish company objectives
• Developing strong relationships with Contractors and demonstrating how we can add value to their businesses
• Identifying potential customer needs/ opportunities to grow our business
• Conducting follow up calls on a daily basis to customers who have expressed an interest in our products
• Responding to customer emails in a professional manner
• Produce quotations/order by checking the product, price, availability as well as respond to the customer request by proving accurate and timely technical information to facilitate appropriate buying decisions
• Assisting walk-in customers, online inquiries and emails

Requirements:

• Sound computing skills, including MS word, Excel(very good – 80% +) and Outlook
• SAP/SYSPRO/ system knowledge
• Good general education with high levels of literacy and numeracy
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as good Telephonic skills
• Previous experience in a customer service/sales role, preferably in either a retail or call centre environment
• Attention to detail – HIGH IMPORTANCE

Salary:

R9000.00-R13000.00 CTC
