Graphic Designer

Job Description

Our Client in the North of JHB is seeking a talented, self-motivated graphic designer to join their dynamic team.

Requirements:

• Design degree or diploma or equivalent from a reputable school/university.
• Portfolio of compelling marketing and brand design work.
• Experience working on digital projects including responsive web pages, paid media, email templates and social media.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and take direction.
• A self-starter with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• A solid understanding of how communication design can contribute to a larger brand and business strategy.
• Comfortable creating concepts and designs for a wide range of marketing needs to elicit specific actions that achieve business goals. 
• Creating content where necessary.
• Be able to adapt designs quickly based on the performance of campaigns.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign (After Effects and Animate is a plus).
• Web design and WordPress experience is essential.
• A solid understanding of typography.
• A strong grasp of words and grammar.
• You’re naturally inquisitive and you enjoy discussing your own work and the work of others.
• Listen carefully and respond positively to feedback.
• Motion graphics/animation.
• Photography shooting and editing.
• Presentation experience (Keynote, Google Slides).
• Illustration skills.
• Video editing skills.
• Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML.
• Sketch experience

Based:

North of Johannesburg.

Salary:

R12 000 – R15 000
