A Chemical Sales Engineer required for our client, who is a well-known supplier of chemical raw materials mainly to the Middle East and African countries with more than 50 years of experience. We supply high-quality products from well-known multinational principals to the Lubricants, Rubber, Coating, Foam, and Adhesives industries. Due to our expanding portfolio of clients and our rapid sales growth, we are now hiring an experienced Chemical Sales Engineers to focus on sales of raw material (additives) to the lube blending sector/companies in Mexico/Argentina/ Brazil. There are multiple positions globally. The person hired for this position will be working from home and reporting to the head office based in Dubai
As an experienced salesperson, you will have excellent technical skills and use consultative selling methods and also be capable of dealing with all types of clients at all levels, being comfortable in high-level negotiations in a competitive environment.
Working with an existing client base, you will be expected to grow the portfolio of clients, building solid relationships, make regular visits and calls to them.
As well as technical knowledge, you will have high attention to details, being able to easily close the deals and work with the logistic team to ensure on-time delivery of the products to your clients.
Your organization and planning skills are essential to your success and achieving your sales target.
Key Responsibilities of a Chemical Sales Engineer (Lubricants)
· Representation of our Clients Products in defined area of responsibility
· Implementing budgets and plans as specified for designated sales area
· Targeted acquisition of new customers in industrial target segments and establishment of a structure of medium-sized and major industrial customers
· Expansion and support of existing clients as well as prospective customers
· Elaborating and implementing strategies/concepts/projects for effective customer acquisition, development and retention (business optimization)
· Customer and lead management via CRM
· Handling of tenders including post-processing
· Expansion and support of existing clients as well as prospective customers
· Processing of customer inquiries giving expert consultation on relevant products and their application
· Strong commitment and reliability Independent mode of operation, very structured and organized approach
· Ability for self-motivation and time management
· Fluent in both English and local language written and spoken
